You can actually look after someone and are able to make a difference towards that person’s life

I love working with my participants, I love getting them out and about. Like we go to different coffee shops and we go all over the coast. We don’t just sit at home in the four walls or go to the same places all the time we get out and do everything

I’m happy when I see the support that I give to people and the smile and the difference that it comes with it or the difference that it affects their lives

When you do these roles, you get to learn a lot of things. It’s not like food industry where you just see people and then you forget about them. It’s kind of building relationship and how you uplift their daily living and help with all kinds of activities they want to do

I have passion in supporting people with both physical and intellectual disabilities

I get to go out and about, do some fun stuff and also get to teach the person responsibilities

I’m finding it really rewarding, really satisfying job to do. I was in the hospitality sector before I joined the industry. And this industry is much better in helping people that is gives you satisfaction

Every day is not the same. And what I love about working closely with different clients is being able to treat them as normal as possible. I don’t feel ashamed of who they are. I think that’s what I love, connecting with clients

I really enjoy helping people. My dad works in that business and I kind of want to follow in his footsteps and he’s always been helping people.
